Benvenuti su MastodontiCo! Questa community nasce dalle ceneri della prima istanza Mastodon italiana (era il 2017). Un nuovo staff ha ripreso questo dominio e dato nuova vita a questo spazio social. Due parole su Mastodon Mastodon è stato creato esplicitamente come un'alternativa a Twitter decentralizzata e open source e questa è una istanza italiana autogestita dalla community. Ogni istanza è gestita in modo indipendente ma tutte comunicano tra loro per formare una rete più ampia , quindi ad esempio un membro di MastodontiCo può interagire con le persone su Mastodon.Uno, Mastodon.Social, ecc. Diversamente da altre istanze tematiche o dedicate a specifiche località, questa è generalista , ossia troverai persone provenienti da diverse aree geografiche e contenuti di vario genere. Questa community Trattandosi di un social network decentralizzato , favoriamo la distribuzione degli utenti su tutte le istanze della federazione. Questo consente anche di non gravare sui singoli server con un consumo elevato di risorse. Lo staff ha come impegno principale quello di supportare i membri e moderare eventuali comportamenti che non giovano alla community in maniera assolutamente neutrale e senza inclinazioni verso ideologie politiche o religiose.
